It's unbelievable what happened in Japan. I hope we can collectively send Japan thoughts of healing, wisdom and meditations of directed intelligence towards finding a solution to the devasting effects of radiation. In light of everything that is going on in the world, between Libya, Egypt, Portugal, Japan and really, everywhere, it's time to definitely make some changes. My newest project is a spoken word project that has some singing, saxophone, flute, percussion, guitar and 16 poems/spoken word imagery. I am talking about Katrina, relationships, recycleing (!) and a whole lot of STUFF! I will be updating here when the project is available.  It will be on i tunes for sure....... It's almost a solo effort, but I have two guest artists with me.... Hearn Gadbois and Nic The Pic (aka Nick Spidaletto). I hope you'll come back and check in for updates....... also, some of the poems are uploaded in the blog section, at the time, I didn't even know they would be coming out together on a recording, but things have a way of evolving...

I have been doing lots of private parties and not much performing out, but I am back at THE STONY HILL INN in Hackensack, NJ with Betty Liste and Ethan O'Riley. It's been great to see everyone I haven't seen in a while! I should be there once or twice a month, so do check the calendar. Also, I'm hoping to get myself out and about more often!

Fall 2010!

Hello Friends, it is a magnificent day here in the nyc area....bright, sunny and warm. Last night I went to a gig that my friend Nick Spidaletto(guitar) has every other thursday at THE GREAT NOTCH INN on rte 46 W in Jersey, the moon was full and beautiful, people were out and about and the music was ROCKIN.... literally........ The band he plays with does rock and roll, lead guitarist and band leader Charlie Jones keeps bringing the house down. Terrific rock singer Carla Lillien sat in........ I took some videos and will be posting them soon on you tube.

I'll be singing this monday nite in NYC at Local 269 (on Houston St)with Maryanne deProphetis and Anders Nillson at 7pm. We are doing ONE SET ONLY.......... Then, the night continues with the very inspiring Kate Bull. Hope you can come out.

It's almost 2010,the moon is almost full and world is as wild as ever... Greetings, Joy and Happiness! It's very cold here in the New York area. Below zero wind chill factor....... Winter is settling in and New Years Eve is almost here. I hope you who are reading this are well and happy and contented listening to some great music and living a blessed and joyful life. I am going to start a blog for 2010 any moment now (!)where I will be posting all kinds of things in hopes of getting more hits on my website and more hits on my music on i tunes and all your favorite download spots! All the spiritual messages I'm getting keep saying, be aware, slow down, don't get caught in the tangled web of chaos energy.........watch those unconscious people who are driving cars while multi tasking and texting and get out of their way!! Stay focused on bringing positive energy into the world and let the negatives have their own destructive orb.... The recession not withstanding, people seem to be digging in and trying to make ends meet. With the Obama team at the helm, I really hope and pray the wars will end, we will get universal health care and everyone will take re cycling seriously and change some long ingrained bad habits! Let's start 2009 off with strong resolve to make concerted efforts to heal the planet!!! On a different note (!!!) ..... I just went out this past weekend to hear Butch Morris and His Chorus of Poets at the Stone in NYC... so great to hear everyone, they sounded so very wonderful!
