Cecil's Jazz Club!
Cecils Jazz Club is located in a sweet tree lined neighborhood, a few minutes of exit 10 off 280. Easy to get to with a parking lot and street parking, friendly staff members, home style feel and world class jazz right in your back yard, what's not to like? You can usually find excellent musicians, great singers and the occasional poet, waxing from tuesdays thru sundays. Cecil Brooks the lll and his beautifu wife Adreena, have created a great venue to listen to the best jazz, meet friends and have dinner and meet, mix and mingle with new friends. There are some fabulous photos on the wall of artists who have performed there and the ambiance is consistant and casual. Just go and have a listen!

Nancy King is the wondrous voice from the pacific northwest who is the diva of all divas. Gifted with a 5 octave range, improvizational flights of fanciful musical genius and an uncanny sense for choice of material, Nancy King is surely one voice you must have with you at all times. Her recordings span many styles and musical settings and each one is a pure gem.........
Teri Roiger
Teri Roiger is a unique neo-traditional singer! She takes the real jazz repertoire, turns it inside out and comes up with a fresh, lingering sound that is both seductive and free!
Nora Mc Carthy
Nora is a musical flurry of passion, soul, emotion, soothsaying, truth telling and jazz poetry that takes you on flights of improvisational abandon with grace and wit. She is a force to be experienced!
ngoma
ngoma is a great poet, a mean violinist, a soothsayer with words and sounds.... he plays didgeridoo and moves from rainbow to rainbow in 0 to 90 seconds.... smokin spoken word and jazz phunk fusion.... one cool gentleman...............
Pam Purvis
Pam is from Bogalusa, La and Dallas, Texas. Her style is hip, swinging, free improv and daring. On Sundays at Cecil's, in W. Orange NJ, she and Bob Ackerman lead a trio for the late afternoon ond set the mood for swinging. Always warm and engaging, Pam plays a tasty keyboard and puts an classic vibe on any tune she sings.
